Paranormal Activity 3!

Yep I've watch Paranormal Activity 3! This time Nura and I get to watch it on the 1st day it came out. Usually we have no free time and would watch it when it's about to end. Anyway, it was damn scary I tell ya. I had to put my hands on my chest the whole time! Nura was covering her face haha! Cos there were seriously a lot of suspense moments. The funny thing is, we would unknowingly grab each other when suddenly we were scared or shocked. The only disappointment about this movie is, I think they cut a lot of scene. The trailer had more scary scenes and it wasn't in the movie. Tsk! But I will really give this a 4 out 5 for it's scariness.

We watched the movie at Orchard and so.. after that we went shopping! Haha, I haven't been in Orchard for months! So, it was really exciting to walk around and just shop. Nura and I had some quality time before meeting again this coming Monday! It'll be time for major project! Hoping for the best. Cos my SIP went well, I hope my grades are good though.

Ice Skating at Kallang!

So, last Saturday was a fun day with DoReMi and their BFs. We went to Kallang to ice skate! It was my second time to ice skate. The last time I ice skate was in primary 4. Quite long huh. I managed to learn how to ice skate as taught by Tini. Apparently, she was the only one who knows how to ice skate out of the 5 of us. We had fun taking pictures and of cos falling! Haha, the falling moments were great memories.

Maddy's bf drove us to Kallang. Yeah he was the one who drove us from noon to night. Drove us back home too! Got to give him credit for it. Must be really tiring for him huh. Anyway, after the tiring but fun skating on the ice, we went to Chai Chee Seafood Restaurant for dinner! It was nice and filling!

A Pink Weekend.

I had a great weekend! After work on Friday, I went to my aunt's house at Bedok just to sleep over. I just love to sleep over there cos it's fun to have company, ya know. My mum and I had planned to sleep over for a day but eventually we slept over for 2 days. Cos last minute, I decided to join my cousins and aunt for the Pink Ribbon Walk. It's a walk to celebrate those cancer survivors effort. Something like that. Honestly, I just join for fun. Heheh. The walk was at Marina Bay Sands. My first time going there, so I was like in awe every few minutes. LOL.

At the Walk, Oli Pettigrew and wife were the hosts. They were great! My cousins and aunt even took pictures with Oli. Cos he's ang moh what. So, must take picture with him. LOL. Saw Barberella too! Wanted to take pictures with her but she was quite far from me... There's also a mass dance/workout guided by the Fitness people. Also, a magician showed my cousins and I some cool tricks! He's kinda like a David Blaine kind. But I really think he's good at drawing our attention to the cards only. When we were so engrossed looking at his cards, he could have done some thing that we didn't see right? Clever of him. Duh that was the point LOL. 

Had late supper/dinner at Zam Zam. The most filling dinner ever!

Yup, so that's my great weekend. LOL, at least it was for me.

Movie date with Nura!

Today will be my first time going out with Nura on a weekend! Haha, it's a big deal for us cos we rarely get the opportunity to go out with friends during the weekend. The initial plan was to visit each other's house for Hari Raya today but since my family was out to send off my brother to Thailand, no one will be at home. So, my mum said no need la. Then, I grab the chance to ask her if I can watch movie instead cos Nura and I actually planned to watch movie after visiting each other's house. To my surprise, she allowed. I think it's cos she feels like she need to payback? Is it right to say payback? Like she said no to this, so she had to say yes to that? Anyway, the point is, I'm just glad I got to go out with Nura. It's been a long time since we both are currently having internship at  a different company. I do, once in a while, meet her for lunch but this is different. At least we have hours to talk and just hang out.

So, initially we planned to watch Johnny English Reborn. I heard many positive reviews that I really wanna watch it. Sadly, it was full and I can't wait for another timing. So, we watched Crazy Stupid Love instead which was a great romantic comedy movie! I just love the story line. It wasn't boring at all, funny and just great! LOL. Steve Carrell acting is so good! that he's became one of my favourite comedy actor. Ryan Gosling is cool and must I mention that he has a great body, haha! Emma Stone, just a great actress! Okay I can just say I love all the casts in that movie. Seriously.

Anyway, after the movie, we sat at the side at the roof floor of Nex, just like having picnic like nobody's business, lol! We just chat and I got to hear a lot of interesting stories from Nura. We both have mixed feeling about the final 3 weeks of our internship, both happy and sad. Hmm, cos as days go by, we become closer to our colleagues right, and so that's when the mixed feeling comes when we know we'll be leaving soon. Gosh, separation is hard, isn't it?

To sum up my Raya 2011...

Hey there! I've been neglecting my blog. Tsktsk. Cos I was so so lazy to update it + I was busy (excuses, haha!).

Anyway, I'm gonna sum up my Hari Raya this year. I can say that this year is great. There were a lot of 'open house' to attend to that I think I gain weight tremendously. Seriously. With all the delicacies I ate, I regretted it sometimes. I just can't help it. Apart from that, the gathering with relatives and friends were great. Did I mention for the umpteenth time that I love family gatherings?? Seriously.

This year's raya is great! As usual.. Lotsa pictures taken and lotsa food eaten! I think I gain weight in just a day after visiting relatives. Tsk tsk!
I honestly don't have much to write. Hehe, cos you know, happiness can't be express by words.. maybe pictures, but it's just this feeling. Complicated huh. Oh wells, enjoy looking at the pictures then.
